In an effort to keep the chickens safe, they actually teach the kids how to properly pick them up. It's kind of like High Schools handing out free condoms...they're going to do it, might as well make sure they're smart about it.
that look is not pride, it's LOVE and devotion (for the chicken). He's been asking me if we can have a chicken. Luckily we still have Tubbs to be the fall guy for saying no.
I don't know....can't you just get him a chicken? That would be so fun to chase around the house!! Easter is right around the corner! Tubbs needs a friend! And Sam needs somebody to play with in the sink when you are cooking!
