Destruction

I am coming to grips with the fact that I live with a wrecking ball.

We have 3 new holes in this house. One in the wall, one in the stained glass lamp, and one in Sam's head.

I only wish the first two were regenerating like the last one. It's only about a half inch cut, but it's kinda deep. For a moment we thought we were going to head over to the ER to get him a stitch or two, since things like this only happen on weekends, when the doctors office is closed. And there was subcutaneous fat bubbling out of the gash. But after calling his Ped, they said it was fine to wait a day and see if it is still oozing. And this morning, it seemed sufficiently ooze free, so the gaping wound is left to heal itself. If it was anywhere else, you would worry about scarring. Let's hope he never hopes to rock the shaved head look.

So today we're taking it easy.

I whipped up some homemade play dough and Sam can smoosh and rip and stab to his heart's content. Really, it's funny how violent he can make something like playing with clay be.

He was actually vibrating with the force of his squeeze when I took that picture.

Joe just keeps his distance. Smart man.

But the cutest wrecking ball ever!!!! Need to print that first picture. That should be entered in some contest! It is fantastic!!! It's a good thing Joe isn't following in Sam's footsteps so far!! The kids are just too cute!
