one bad hat

I just, FINALLY, finished the hat I've been knitting, oh, forever. It turned out pretty nice. I used a silk blend I had lying around, and since it's a "slouchy" hat, that choice provides a nice drape. However, I messed up bunch. If you look close, you can see them, but doesn't ruin the hat or anything. Gives it that hand-made look, right?

So I'm debating sending it off as part of the "I will make you something" thing I committed to on Facebook. I mean, I like it, but I would like it more with a 2x2 rib and a little roll at the bottom, I think. Something about this brim bugs me a little. Kinda wobbly? And I already have a wool hat pretty much the same color and not all that different in style.

So yep, I think I will send it off. Lord knows I need to start making some stuff if I'm not going to be a total slacker and lame out on the whole thing.

Now I just have to figure out who might actually wear this hat...and looks nice in green.

The group here in Florida loved the way you took the pictures. Most would just ask their husband or wife to do it. The hat looks great on you.
